Demon Digital Sound Studio Services Pricing

Studio Time - Recording - Mixdown - Mastering

  • Studio time can be charged by the hour or as a package deal.
  • Hourly: $40.00 per hour - This includes Recording, mixing, mastering and producing final product. You are not charged for equipment setup.
  • Package rates: This varies greatly depending on many aspects and will be determined between the studio and the band. Certain circumstances must apply.
  • Mastering setup: You will be charged for one hour of studio time at the start of any mastering project.

Mastering your pre-existing files

  • If you have recorded your own music and would like us to master the songs, we have a great pricing sheet for the service.
  • 1 to 4 song demo: $40.00 (33 EUR) setup fee plus $25.00 per song.
  • 5 to 8 songs: $40.00 (33 EUR) setup fee plus $20.00 per song
  • 9 to 15 songs: $40.00 (33 EUR) setup fee plus $15.00 per song
  • Anything beyond that can be worked out as a package deal.
  • Requirements for mastering services are below:
  • Songs must be mixed down in a professional manner (at least semi-pro).
  • In order for prices to apply, all songs must be from the same mixdown. IE: Don't expect to pay $140.00 to get four song mastered which are all from different studio's or years.
  • Artist must approve one song master before the rest are processed.
  • No refunds given after mastering is done, remember you approved it with your free mastering sample.
  • NOTE: If you need to pay in a currency other than US Dollars, your credit card company will do the transfer, you simply pay as if you were in the United States.

How can mastering my files help me or my recording?

  • Take out hiss and other unwanted noise
  • Raise the songs dynamics for a full range sound
  • Smooth out high or low spots for a more professional level
  • Remove "bad" frequencies left over from the original recording
  • Add needed frequencies not produced in the original recording
  • Give your songs all the same finished sound for an even, professional CD
  • Run songs together or "Crossfade" for a continuous sound with CD track markers.
  • Many techniques used in mastering depend heavily on the original file and are too numerouse to mention here, this is only to give you and idea of how mastering helps give you a professional, submittable, sellable final product.

NOTE: We do not provide duplication services

NOTE: We do not host artist's music for others to download

Why an hourly rate might not work for your band

  • Band members do not have the ability to get tracks down in only a few takes
  • Band is undecided on how the final mix should sound
  • Band members do not have the ability to play an entire song without the accompanyment of other instruments.
  • Band is just not ready to record

Other reasons can come into play, the bottom line is.... the better you are, the cheaper we are.
